Customize your heating pad to suit your needs! You decide what herb or herbs you want in them from the below list. Combined or just choose one. After your purchase just let me know in the message to seller what you prefer. If you prefer no herbs also let me know in message to seller.

Chamomile- relaxant, calms the nervous system, insomnia, irritability, restlessness

Lavender- Arthritis, stress, circulation, relieving anxiety, depression and insomnia. Helps to relieve pain related to headaches.

Mint- helps with sinus and headache issues

Rose- antidepressant, astringent, antiviral, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory as well as aphrodisiac.

Microwave it for Heat Therapy
Warm in microwave for 40-50 second increments as needed (check temperature to ensure that warmth is ideal before use.) Do not overheat - will case burns (for external use only). Enjoy the penetrating moist heat and relaxing aromatherapy for 30 to 45 minutes.

Freeze it for Cold Therapy
Place the Wrap in a sealable plastic bag in the freezer for 2 hours. It remains therapeutically cold for 20 - 25 minutes, and will remain pliable so it contours easily to you.

Flax seeds are great for retaining heat or cold. Flax-filled heated pillows provide a gentle, moist heat, which promotes healing, while their therapeutic weight is gentle and conforms to the body. Flax seeds are flower seeds rather than grain (such as rice). They contain 30-40% oil, which remains inside the seed to be warmed again and again. Most grain products loose their ability to retain heat as the water cooks out of them over time. Rice can actually "cook" and crack the more you heat it, same with beans; hence the smell. When heated, flax seed pillows retain half their heat after an hour. Under the covers, the pillow will still be warm hours later. Flax seed pillows may also be chilled for a calming and soothing cold pack. Use to cool a sunburn, fever, hot flashes or inflammation, or place on the neck or wrists to cool down on a hot day.

For people with allergies, flax seed is a great substitute for other materials often found in pillows. Some side effects may occur for people with allergies (herbs). If allergic reaction occurs, discontinue use immediately. When using on a child adult supervision is advised. For external use only.
