Peppermint Oil for Pest

As the weather begins to get cooler those little rodents are moving to where it is warm, our homes. To help prevent those little destroyers try using an all natural solution. You have to like the smell of peppermint for this. Not only will it help with mice but it will help you with your sinuses.

What you will need:
100% Peppermint Oil
Cotton Balls/ Cotton Swabs
Spray bottle
Dish Detergent
Water

Cotton Balls/ Cotton Swabs you want to use about 5 drops more if you like. Place directly in the hole or where they have been coming in at. Also but in the window sills, under cabinets, closets, anywhere the little critters go. Very important to keep refreshing the cotton balls at least once a month, more if you need it.

Peppermint Spray in and around areas of suspected mouse activity is another way to repel them and may be easier to manage in areas where access is limited or where cotton balls my blow away. Combine two teaspoons of peppermint oil with one cup of water and then add a few drops of dish detergent to help the ingredients mix better. Shake it all together in a spray bottle and apply the mixture any place that you have or suspect you have mice. Reapply the spray as the scent fades, usually after about two weeks.

For anything to truly work you need to do you part. Make sure you don't have clutter, no food laying out, common sense stuff. Wipe down counter tops and keep floors clean and free of any food.
And don't for get to refresh as much as needed.
