How to Treat Chapped Hands Naturally

Things You'll Need
1 cucumber
1 tsp. honey
1 tbsp. cornmeal
Warm water
1/2 cup mild, unscented soap
Food processor
Spoon
2 airtight containers
Vegetable peeler
Rubber gloves

Instructions
Peel the cucumber. The tough green skin will not make a smooth juice. Puree the cucumber in the food processor. It should be entirely liquid by the time you are done.

Mix the cucumber juice and honey together in an airtight container. Once they are thoroughly mixed you can set them aside.

Mix the cornmeal, liquid soap and just enough warm water to make a paste together in the other airtight container. This paste will be grainy and should be relatively thick.

Wash both hands with the cornmeal paste. The cornmeal will rub off environmental pollutants and flaking or dead skin cells
without taking moisture away from lower layers of skin.

Rinse the cornmeal paste off with warm water. Do not dry your hands when you are done.

Apply the cucumber and honey lotion to your hands. It will not all soak in right away.

Put the rubber gloves on over the lotion for 15 minutes. The cucumber will soothe your skin and help it heal.

Rinse your hands with warm water. Make sure that all of the cucumber-honey lotion is gone from your hands. You can apply regular moisturizer to your hands at this time if you wish Repeat this treatment 3 times a week until your chapped hands are healed. Then keep them moisturized to prevent the problem from happening again.
